One of the first things a visitor notices at the Power Magnetics office in Trenton is the collection of the Brooklyn Bridge artwork covering the walls. “Despite being an electrical engineer, I have always been fascinated by bridges and the Brooklyn Bridge in particular” said Carl A. Bannwart, Power Magnetics’ president. The bridge was one of the great engineering marvels of the 19th century, and, astoundingly, is expected to last to the 22nd century. John Roebling used many groundbreaking innovations in design and construction, and the quality of the engineering speaks for itself. Also, Roebling’s unique vision included an esthetic grace and elegance rarely matched.“As a student of the bridge, I gradually realized its symbolic value – as well as the obvious Trenton connection with the Roeblings and steel – was important to Power Magnetics, and in fact is emblematic of our mission of innovation, engineering, and endurance. We are proud to say that our products are ‘Built like the Brooklyn Bridge’,” stated Carl A. Bannwart.

Benjamin Guinand
Head Electrical Engineer

​Ben Guinand received his Ph.D. in Magnetics Material from the University Claude Bernard, Lyon, France 2007.
He began working in transformers and inductors in 2008 in Europe developing designs for the railway industry.
Ben joined the PMI team in 2019 as the Lead Electrical Engineer and continues his career in the power transformer industry. Ben is currently in charge of strategic project development for Power Magnetics. 
Ben likes challenges and he is ready to help you in your technical development”
 
In his spare time, Ben is an avid golfer and enjoys many outside activities.

Lisa Miller
​Office/HR Manager

​Lisa graduated from Harry S. Truman in 1983 and continued her education at Mercer County College and Mercer Medical School of Nursing. Having a varied background in the medical field, Lisa decided to pursue other options in office administration. Having joined Power Magnetics in 2017 as the Client Relations Manager, Lisa has taken on the role of Office/Human Resources Manager.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys her family, especially her grandchildren, and is dedicated to animal rescue, fostering many dogs/cats thru multiple animal rescues.
